About Us

Where it all started

I have been involved in judo since I was 12 I have won multiple state and national championships in shai (fighting) with numerous organisations.
I have competed and won nationally, Internationally representing Australia resulting in Oceania winner and representing Australia at the World Titles in Kodokan Judo Kata.
I have competed in 4 world Police and firefighters games medaling in all. I am a 43 year firefighter veteran.
Judo has taken myself and my family members all over the world.
For the last 5 years I have refereed and judged at the nationals as a volunteer where I try to give back a bit to the sport that I have loved for so long.
I am still learning but want to encourage more people to experience the wonderful martial art of Judo. I am a father of 4 adult sons all of whom have played Judo.
You can see the world playing judo making friends as you go or you can be a club player and enjoy the company of others accompanied by the laughs along the way it doesn’t matter just so long as you enjoy the ride.
